RLK laser Plummet Multi Tool
The RLK Laser Plummet / Multi-Tool is a unique surveying apparatus designed by a surveyor to obtain the horizontal alignment by way of a laser instead of a prism pole or plumb bob. By holding RLK Laser Plummet / Multi-Tool over point with the loop strap it allows the laser to hang plump and mark the point with a visible red dot. No guessing if you are on the point. The RLK can be used at variable height positions because the red dot of the laser will reach visibly from ½" up to 500 feet, although direct bright sun can impede use. Some, but not all in the field uses would be: Positioning over any monument where the prism on a pole cannot be seen. Such as when only having a small window to see the prism, usually below the prism on the pole and above the target object. Being able to clip the laser onto the pole to slide up or down within the viewable window for those with a shaky hand or on a windy day. Other uses would be when working into the evening or night or in the canopy of forests. Vertical distance is not an issue. Lets say to get a shot at the edge of a river from the bridge above, or to locate the eaves on a 3-story building. Imagination is it's only limitations. The RLK Laser Plummet / Multi-Tool Comes with: 5 mw red dot laser / adjusted w/ batteries, 5/8" x 11 standard mounting cylinder w/ wire clip, prism housing bracket, pole clip, counter balance bracket w/ leather finger loop, clamping knob, Allen wrench for adjusting the laser and a quick reference guide to get you started.
