Paratrooper Knife
The Paratrooper Knife was designed in conjunction with the British Army as a basic but effective cutting tool. The simple flat, medium to high carbon steel blade has a slight bellied tip, which puts the weight of the blade forward, improving the cutting performance. The Paratrooper knife is 15" overall, 10" blade and a handle of 5" and a 2.36" wide belly at the tip. The blade thickness is .177 at the handle tapering to .1 at the tip. The blade has a Rockwell hardness of 44-50. The knife comes with a riveted beech wooden handle, which has a turn-backed grip for better griping. They come pre-sharpened and ready use but can be easily sharpened further. The sheaths are made of leather, item #PTRLS or coudra with a plastic liner, item #PTRCS, which will be discontinued when stock runs out.
