Rotating Tripod Bracket, Clamps And Cradles
This aluminum bracket rotates 360 degrees around the tripod head for easier access to your data collector. It fits between the tripod head and the tribrach. The bracket is perfect for layout work or large topo surveys. The brass 5/8x11 extension bolt fits between the tripod center screw and tribrach and stores after use, by screwing into the rotating bracket stud. The rotating bracket REQUIRES the use of the open clamp system to attach the data collector cradle to the rotating bracket. The open clamp (S5198-52 plain, S5198-055 with 40-min vial, or S5198-055 with compass) clamps onto the 1" stud on the rotating bracket. It is a fast any easy way to mount the collector cradles to the rotating bracket. The cradles (S5198-073, S5198-081, S5198-082, S5198-086, S5198-088)hold the data collector, which then fits into the open clamp by a quick release pin system. This allows adjustable tilting of the data collector, so it can be viewed at different angles. All the items above are made of aluminum and feature brass clamp screws with stainless steel quick release pins.
